Welcome to Buzzworthy's "The Week In Pop," where we round up new album releases, talk show musical guests, and TV performances by your favorite pop stars and more (so you don't have to).

The week begins and ends with Muse, who drop their sixth studio album and perform on "Saturday Night Live." Meanwhile, MTV PUSH artist Cher Lloyd makes her Stateside debut and also hits "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" today, "Tonight Show With Jay Leno" this evening, and "Live With Kelly and Michael" on Thursday. Miguel mines pop, funk, rock and more on his sophomore R&B effort. Check him out on VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live" on Wednesday. Additionally, Matt & Kim go all DIY for their new effort (catch them tonight on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon"), plus Cody Simpson, Flying Lotus, The Hood Internet, and Chris Rene release new material as well.

NEW ALBUM RELEASES

+ Cher LloydSticks + Stones: She wowed on U.K.'s "The X Factor" with her original electro, hip-hop, and pop genre blend. Now the 19-year-old songstress brings her debut album Stateside. Watch a video for "Want U Back," which she told MTV News is a bit ironic: "I'm the kind of girl that would be like, 'I don't want you back. I dumped you for a reason.'" "Grow Up" features Busta Rhymes, and check out "Beautiful People." The U.S. debut also includes a previously unreleased track, "Behind The Music."

+ MuseThe 2nd Law: Though their first single hints at dubstep (the group said they wrote "Unsustainable" after seeing Skrillex) and "Madness" tips to EDM as well with its bass wobble rhythms, much of the album still champions Muse's trademark soaring, dramatic guitar rock. The album also deals in apocalyptic themes rooted in current events (like the economic and energy crises) and includes "Survival," the theme song for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

+ MiguelKaleidoscope Dream: For the R&B crooner's awesome sophomore album, rich textures with guitars and layers of electronic atmospherics are woven into several genres to pleasing results. At its center is his soulful singing and lyrics, which zero in on matters of the heart. On "Don't Look Back" Miguel nods to a Zombies' hook while "Where's The Fun is Forever" features Alicia Keys. Also check out the title track, "Use Me" and the blush-inducing, humorous "P**** Is Mine."

Check out more new album releases, upcoming TV appearances, and performances after the jump.

+ Cody SimpsonParadise: The Aussie troubadour has been a busy boy, from touring with Big Time Rush and Justin Bieber, to releasing the interactive movie Finding Cody and cohosting MTV's "10 On Top." For his debut album, Cody gives us a peek into what tour life is like with his "Wish U Were Here" video. Also, check out the happy, vacation-ready title track.

Matt & KimLightning: The indie-pop duo and couple IRL wrote, recorded, and self-produced their latest effort in their Brooklyn apartment. Listen to their infectious, dancey, and hand-clapped "Let's Go." Also, check out their punchy "Now" lyric video (which comes complete with a warning that it may induce seizures). They are also offering a free download of the track.

+ Flying LotusUntil The Quiet Comes: A tapestry of twinkly, skittery rhythms and beats with an experimental funk jazz vibe flavor, the noted electronic music producer and remixer Steven Ellison (aka Flying Lotus) released his fourth full length album. "See Thru To U" features Erykah Badu, and "Electric Candyman" features Radiohead's Thom Yorke. Check out the Until The Quiet Comes album trailer.

+ The Hood InternetFeat: Our friends STV SLV and ABX create excellent mashups of hip-hop and rock collages and drop their free creations on their website. Now, the taco-loving duo release their first all-original, sample-free full length album, Feat. 20+ guests populate Feat, including Cadence Weapon ("Critical Captions"), The New Pornographers' A.C. Newman ("One For the Record Books"), Psalm One ("More Fun") and The Rosebuds and Astronautalis ("Our Finest China").

Chris ReneI'm Right Here EP: "You can expect like to hear music that actually is alive and has a soul and is gonna speak to a lot of people," the rapper/singer told MTV Buzzworthy of his major label debut EP. The third-place finalist from season 1 of the U.S. "X Factor" includes his hit made popular on the show, "Young Homie," in the eight-song set.
